Leading national law firm Lander & Rogers has appointed Helen Sims as a Partner in its Commercial Disputes team, based in Sydney. Helen commenced with the firm on 8 September 2025.

Helen is a highly experienced litigator with deep expertise in administrative law, regulatory disputes, inquiries, privacy, and complex litigation. She joins from Holding Redlich, where she was Special Counsel, and has previously held senior roles at Norton Rose Fulbright, the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office, and the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office.

Over her career, Helen has advised both government and private sector clients across law enforcement, financial services, health, education, and entertainment. She has acted in major regulatory matters, Royal Commissions, statutory inquiries, and enforcement actions, and has significant experience appearing as a solicitor advocate and instructing senior counsel in high-stakes disputes.

Lander & Rogers is relocating its Sydney office to the reimagined and iconic premises at 33 Alfred Street, Circular Quay, with the official move taking place on 15 September 2025.

The move underscores the firm’s growth in the Sydney market and its long-term investment in providing the best law firm experience for its people and clients. The new premises have been designed by multi-award-winning practice Bates Smart to foster connection, collaboration, and innovation.

The landmark 33 Alfred Street building, Sydney’s first skyscraper, has been a prominent feature of the CBD skyline for more than 60 years. The original AMP 'Sydney Cove' Building was the city's first to break the 150-foot height limit. At 117 metres, it was Australia’s tallest building, almost double the height of anything else in Sydney at the time, and it paved the way for the development of tall office towers in the city. Now reimagined as a carbon-neutral building (scope 1 and 2 emissions) and targeting both a 5.5-star NABERS Energy rating and 6-star Green Office As Built v3 rating, the building combines heritage with cutting-edge sustainability.

Lander & Rogers is pleased to have advised BAI Communications (BAI) on its strategic acquisition of advanced communications engineering specialist Titan ICT, which completed on 4 September 2025.

The transaction brings together BAI’s global experience in broadcast and telecommunications infrastructure with Titan ICT’s deep expertise in mission-critical communications solutions, particularly across the mining, resources, and energy sectors. The acquisition strengthens BAI’s capabilities in LTE, microwave, IP and radio networks, while expanding its customer base to include some of Australia’s largest organisations and blue-chip mining companies.

Lander & Rogers' capital markets team has advised ASX-listed clinical-stage radiopharmaceutical company Clarity Pharmaceuticals on its landmark $203 million institutional placement, marking the largest capital raising in the company’s history.

The raise was supported by a select group of institutional investors and completed in an unusually short timeframe. The raising was over-subscribed and completed at a 2.2% premium to Clarity's last closing price prior to the raise and an 18% premium to its 15-day volume-weighted average price.
