Annabel is an accredited specialist in family law who has been practising for almost 20 years
Prior to joining Lander & Rogers as Special Counsel, Annabel was an Associate Director at a boutique family law firm.
Annabel commenced her legal career as a deputy associate to a Federal Magistrate in the family law jurisdiction and subsequently worked at a top-tier commercial firm for five years, mostly in the mergers and acquisitions team. She has also worked at the Australian Human Rights Commission as both a lawyer and in the policy team.
Experience
Annabel has extensive experience in family law, most notably:
- full carriage of matters from initial client engagement to conclusion (both out of court settlement and litigation)
- preparation of parenting and financial terms of settlement and all other family law court documentation and settlement documentation such as Binding Child Support Agreements and Financial Agreements
- advocacy – appearing at conciliation conferences, interim hearings, as instructing solicitor to counsel at final hearings and private mediations.
