Morgan is a Senior Associate in Lander & Roger's General Insurance team, practicing in health and medical defence. She advises health practitioners, hospitals and insurers on a wide range of matters, including complex civil litigation disputes.
Experience
Morgan has over six years' experience defending medical negligence matters, having acted for medical defence organisations and public hospital insurers at a boutique health law firm in Perth, Western Australia and a national firm in Melbourne, Victoria. She has experience defending claims across all specialty's, including obstetrics, complex/catastrophic injuries, oncology, orthopaedics and neurology.

Morgan's career highlights include:
- advising Australia's largest medical defence organisation on liability and quantum in respect of a complex, multi-party civil litigation dispute worth in excess of $1.5 million
- successfully defending, in oral argument, a plaintiff's application to set aside dismissal of her claim for want of prosecution
- advising a Western Australia public hospital on the reasonable settlement expectations of a complex birth injury
- obtaining a plaintiff's agreement to withdraw her proceedings in light of overwhelming expert evidence in favour of the hospital and a failed Medical Panel referral
- successfully negotiating a reasonable settlement award below the recommended reserve in a long running and complex gynaecological matter.
