Lander & Rogers secures leading regulatory litigation team in major Commercial Disputes growth move

Leading national law firm Lander & Rogers has strengthened its Commercial Disputes practice with the appointment of Tom Jarvis and Christopher Sones as partners in Melbourne, commencing 1 June 2026

Joining alongside Tom and Chris is an experienced team comprising Special Counsel Brendan Donohue, Senior Associates Karl Barnett, Erin Condello and Madison Lardner, Lawyers Sasie Wijewardana, Shreya Tiwari and Caitlin O'Dwyer, and Legal Assistant Jeanette Nunn.

Tom and Chris are highly regarded litigators with extensive experience in regulatory investigations, commercial litigation, administrative law and enforcement proceedings. Over the past decade, they have acted for Commonwealth regulators including ASIC,the ACCC, AUSTRAC and the eSafety Commissioner in some of Australia’s most significant and high-profile matters.

Tom is recognised nationally as one of Australia’s leading regulatory and commercial litigators, with more than 35 years’ experience advising government and corporate clients on complex litigation, regulatory disputes and public inquiries.

Chris has extensive experience advising clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings, particularly across the financial services and consumer protection sectors.

The appointments further strengthen Lander & Rogers’ national disputes capability, particularly across Commonwealth Government, regulatory and commercial law matters, and continue the strategic growth of the firm’s Commercial Disputes practice following recent partner appointments including Helen Sims in Sydney and Kelly Coulston in Brisbane.
